Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance workshop series
The Sexual Health workshop series runs at the LaunchPad from 20-23 August 2018
During Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance (SHAG) week, Murdoch Uni Health in conjunction with Sexual Health Quarters and WA Aids Council, will be running a series of free sexual health workshops.
The workshops will run during lunchtime from from Monday 20 August to Thursday 23 August at the LaunchPad in the Geoffrey Bolton Library.
The workshops will focus on topics such as consent, STI’s, contraception, bystander effect, LGBTQI+ health and mindfulness. There will also be a panel discussion on Thursday at 12:30–1:30pm to allow staff and students to ask any sexual health, sexuality or relationship questions, anonymously. The panel is made up of professionals who either specialise in areas of sexual health or have extensive knowledge and a keen interest in it.
Lunch will be provided and you won’t leave empty handed! A competition will be running throughout the week so make sure you keep your eye out for that too.
